Welcome to the Buddy System website! Buddy System is a student organization which will help you with all the out-of-school activities and make sure that Prague will be an unforgetable experience for you. All the less fun study related issues must be solved with the school coordinators. We will offer you:

Buddy Program
A Buddy - Czech student will help you in the beginning of your staying. Each of you will have the opportunity to have his own Buddy. No need to apply, we will contact you in June.

Tandem
Language partner to exchange your language skills, the best opportunity to learn some Czech.

Orientation Week
Few days to you’d get to know the University of Economics and Prague.

Ice Breaking Weekend
Weekend with only one purpose – get to know each other while having fun.

Trips
One day trips to Czech cities and sights, sports activities, Boatparty etc.

Travelling
Two or three days trips to other countries like Germany, Austria, Hungary etc.

Events
Share the cultures during the International dinner, Country presentations etc.

Parties
In Prague, we party on Tuesdays! Get ready for the nation2nation parties

Social projects
Find out more about the locals and do some good at the same time with project like Wanna Talk or Erasmus in schools

What can you do now? Feel free to join the official Facebook group University of Economics Exchange Students Fall 2013. As soon as the lists of students will be completed we will confirm you as a member. 

We collect all the things which you don’t want to take home and could help future students to make their living easier in the empty dorm at the very beginning. (dishes, forks and spoons, sleeping bags, stationary...whatever you want).

Give those things to the receptionist at the dorm Jarov G any time and we’ll take care of it.

For the second time this semester, we are inviting you to our event called Country Presentations! International students will present the best of their countries in 20 minutes long enetratining presentations.

Come and join us for evenings full of interesting facts about different countries and cultures!

After the presentations, we are heading to a pub near school.

Come and enjoy an evening with international students and improve your language skills while speaking to natives. Make new Czech and internatinal friends and talk to them about anything. This time in ether English or German.

Fan of Formula 1? Wanna try a bit of racing?

Come and join us to race on the longest kart track in Europe (910m) with over 30 curves and average speed of around 40 km/h! After 10 minutes of racing you will be given a paper with times of the group you were racing with so that you could compare the results. Indoor activity with nice restaurant with the view over the track. All girls and boys are welcomed!

Tell us about your cuisine culture and know what they eat for example in Mexico, Singapore, France and other countries all over the world!

It’s the best chance where you can compare your traditional dishes with the others and taste so many different flavours at the same time. And of course there will be Czech food!

International dinner is always a big experience for every exchange student but to make it unforgettable we need YOU to present your own country :) What does it mean? Cook with your friends some typical food from your country and bring it! Every nation will have its own place where will present its cuisine. You can cook whatever you think is good to other people know, there are no restrictions of your fantasy. Bring cookies, main dishes or desserts.
